BTCCSquare news:

Revolut, the UK-based digital banking and payments platform with over 12 million users, is set to pilot a British pound-pegged stablecoin under regulatory supervision. The test, launching this quarter, marks a significant step in integrating digital currencies into mainstream financial services.

The MOVE leverages Revolut's existing infrastructure to bring stablecoin functionality to everyday transactions. Users will gain access to pound-backed tokens within the app, enabling seamless conversions between traditional and digital assets without disrupting the platform's user experience.

This development represents a strategic bridge between conventional banking and cryptocurrency ecosystems. By operating under regulatory oversight, Revolut's initiative could set a precedent for compliant stablecoin adoption across European markets.
